Alex Gilmore Bio.

Born Lloyd Alexander Gilmore in 1959 he grew up in and around Little Rock Arkansas. At a very young age he was taught to hunt and fish by his relatives on his mother’s side of the family and especially his great grandfather. After graduating from Joe T. Robinson High School Ferndale Arkansas in 1978 he departed for his enlistment in the US Navy. He excelled in swimming and shooting and received training as a Sea Air Rescue Diver and other hazardous duties. However his primary job was an Electronics Technician. While undergoing training in 1982 in San Diego he met his wife of 28 years. In March of 1984 he was medically discharged from the Navy.

January of 1985 started attending the University of Arkansas at Little Rock as an electrical engineer major and completed three semesters. Upon moving to Twin Falls Idaho in December of 1985 he then attended the College of Southern Idaho for one semester and then transferred to Weber State University in Ogden Utah. After taking the clerks exam for the Post Office and started employment in January of 1987. Ultimately he was elected as the local APWU Vice President. When he left the post office in May of 1990 he had attained the position of MPE at the Twin Falls Post Office.

During his last four months working for the post office he started self employment as a janitor, home remodeler, lawn care, and window washer. Over the next three years all of the businesses grew with him securing a contract with US West for cleaning of 32 buildings plus other cleaning contracts that included First Federal Savings and Loan. During this time he had also started working on a machine the used special water, pumps, hoses, and cleaning wands the was extremely fast at cleaning exterior windows and buildings. By 1995 the window business had grown so large that he sold off all his other businesses and concentrated on windows having over 3000 clients in his database that included Bruce Willis and Demi Moore and the Ameri Tel Inns. It was also at this time he started manufacturing these machines, calling them the Advanced Water Squeeggee (purposely miss spelled), and selling them with the starting price of $8500.00. Then in 1996 he started using the internet as his medium of advertising.
The AWS was extremely fast and efficient with the capability of washing up to 200 windows an hour; accomplished on the Twin Falls Clinic and Hospital. Starting in 1999 he started breaking up his window business selling of four portions to friends and ultimately selling the largest piece in 2001 and retired due to failing health.

From 2001 to 2003 he continued studying SEO and website design and built websites and installed crown molding to supplement his fixed income. In 2003 he then went back to college, provided by the Veterans Administration, to pursue a marketing degree. His VA benefits would run out in May of 2005 so it required him to do 99 semester hours from January 2003 to May 2005 which he accomplished it by taking 15 hours in a regular semester and 12 hours during the summer semester. During this period of time he also embarked on an intensive study of Search Engine Optimization with the assistance of two professors and all the while achieving a 3.67 Gpa and designing websites and installing crown molding and building decks to supplement his income. After graduating, and while seeking employment in the marketing field, built a 2100 square foot home with 10 foot ceilings from May to October of 2005.
In October of 2005 he secured the position of Marketing Manager at Provider Construction in New Braunfels Texas. He remained employed with Provider Construction until leaving in April of 2007. Also during his employment he authored the book “Operation Rock the Cradle” as a resume builder which consisted of 182 pages.

He then went to work for Leisure Pools as their Marketing and IT Manager and their in house SEO expert. After describing what he had accomplished on the internet using regionally optimized websites he was given the go ahead to embark on their domination strategy. Unlike other web designers and SEO professionals he has the ability to see subtle changes in search engines algorithms because of the huge testing platform in his possession. He also has created domination strategies for other companies that has also had the same impact on their businesses as with Leisure Pools; increased leads by 2.5 times in two years and increasing web traffic by threefold during the same period.
